Following our First North American Sustainable Economic Development Summitheld in August of 2014, this year’s event will focus on “Trade Regimes of the Americas.” The way trade is conducted in the Western Hemisphere continues to evolve, and the initiatives of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), continue to bring together the economies of the United States, Mexico, Canada and the region. Now the world’s largest free trade regime, connecting 450 million people, and producing $17 trillion worth of goods and services annually, North America stands to benefit greatly with the potential implementation of the Trans-Pacific Partnership, and the Trans-Atlantic Partnership, which are currently being debated and negotiated.

Good Neighbor Award

Mr. Richard W . Fisher, Former President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and member of AT&T Board of Directors will be presented the Good Neighbor Award for his longstanding support of U.S.-Mexico economic relations, and leadership during the NAFTA negotiations and implementation, as well as his dedication to establish and maintain mutual beneficial relationship between Mexico’s fiscal and central bank authorities and the U.S. Federal Reserve System.
The ceremony will take place during the Second Inaugural Summit Dinner, on the night of August 24, 2015
